What are Aged Debtors?

Aged debtors are the unpaid sales invoices a UK business is owed, grouped by how long each invoice has been outstanding. A typical aged debtor report shows balances in buckets such as current, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, and over 90 days. The report drives credit control actions, informs bad debt provisions, and feeds into accurate cashflow forecasting.
