Software Developer in Test

We are looking for a consultant Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). This role would suit an Automation Tester/Automation Engineer who can talk automation tools and techniques and be a sounding board for shaping automation testing and product solutions within this space.<br><br>This position is available from the 31/08/2020, with a duration of 12 working days. Ideally 3 days a 4 for 4 weeks but we can be flexible. <li>Working closely with Product Management in providing consultative input into future product offerings.</li><li>As part of the continual improvement, providing guidance to existing internal test roles in terms of best practices, areas for improvement, and training opportunities.</li><li>Development of a matrix for Continuous Test maturity, identifying behaviours, tools, and processes at each stage.</li><li>4+ years of hands-on experience working with test automation tools for visual, UI, API, contract testing</li><li>Relevant Computer Science / IT related qualifications.</li><li>Have solid understanding of Git workflow</li><li>Have experience in architecting and implementing test automation solutions and frameworks for complex front end and back end systems</li><li>Have experience collaborating with developers on test automation scenarios, by pairing, reviewing unit tests and coaching on testing best practices</li><li>Understand and advocate for CI/CD with experience with tools like Jenkins, CircleCI etc</li><li>Have experience working with cross-functional agile teams and delivering products, collaborating with Design, UX, Project Management, and Product Management.</li><li>Be an advocate and leader for Test Automation, with the ability to interact with various levels of individual and management to educate and influence Automation test strategy.</li><li>Experience with using automation dashboards, consoles and test management tools like Zephyr or Testrail.</li><li>Experience running unattended, regularly scheduled automated tests in test environments.</li><li>Experience with Behaviour & Test-Driven Development (BDD, TDD) particularly Cucumber</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>A passion for testing, development, and design.</li><li>Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), ideally both as IaaS and PaaS</li><li>Experience in containerisation (Docker) and containerisation infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.)</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>No weekends</li><li>software engineering: 3 years (Preferred)</li><li>java: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li><li>No</li>
