Finance Director What’s the Role? Our client group, which consists of a publishing business, a social investment and advisory business is seeking an Interim Finance Director to work across the group and its varying needs. As the Finance Director you will be responsible for the development and monitoring of our overall financial strategy and delivery, safeguarding and providing financial information, analysis and advice to the group and boards. Tell Me More · Start date: Mid-September · Location: Flexi-working from home or office when required (based in Central London) · Rate: £300 - £350 per day · Duration: 3-6 months initially Your day-to-day activities will include: · Financial forecasting and reporting, including the annual accounts and returns to HMRC. · Support the group to advise fund investment and advisory business and its relationships with investors. · Deliver required payroll and pension schemes. · Working at senior management level · Strategic thinking and a commercial approach · Developing financial strategy and business plans · Providing constructive support to managers and directors · A role model who motivates managers and staff · Demonstrating the organisation’s values through your own behavior · Strong communication skills, able to provide clear, concise information in verbal, written, and electronic formats · Developing forecasting models · Financial accounting and accounting standards · Taxation and other relevant legislation · Oversight of group finances e.g. group financial reporting, statutory accounts, group cash · The financial services sector and the relevant regulatory regime · SME VC, PE, mezzanine finance and turnaround experience What Knowledge, Skills & Experience We Need · Professionally fully qualified accountant · Member of an accountancy body recognised by the IFAC · Educated to degree level · Social enterprise and Media business experience preferable · Experience of the SMCR, including SMF16 and 17 Energetic, highly motivated with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of delivering on our mission. · Advanced Excel user Next steps: To express your interest in this opportunity, don't delay; please click Apply now About us Momenta are a UK market leading financial services resourcing business.
