Freelance Digital Marketing Manager
Background to the role:
Weave Marketing is a boutique marketing agency with strategy, creativity and practicality at the heart of what we do. Founded in 2016 by two ex-client-side marketeers for some of the best-known brands in the UK, they have taken their in-house thinking to the agency side. Weave keeps things simple, honest and focuses on doing the things that work and doing them brilliantly – we call it “marketing wizardry without the hocus pocus”. We are on the lookout for a superstar Digital Marketing Manager to help us work across our client portfolio. We work with clients in retail, casual dining and technology delivering multi-channel campaigns that help them deliver their business goals.

- Lead development of digital marketing strategy, maximising effectiveness and efficiency across all digital channels
- End-to-end campaign and project management from pitching, insights, planning, logistics and admin, data analysis and reporting
- Build paid media plans that compliment offline campaigns maximising budgets to drive reach and engagement, identifying most appropriate ad formats, devising media schedules (frequency, duration) and determining demographic targeting
- Development and execution of social media marketing plans aligned to clients’ needs
- Define strategy to build followers/fans and improve interaction & engagement across social media platforms, leveraging scale by driving both paid and organic social
- Fluency with the business accounts / advert manager functionality of all major social platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
- Develop and execute effective test strategies
- Recommend and manage social media advertising budget
- Lead the paid acquisition strategy across all existing and new marketing channels with accountability for aggressive channel growth while delivering against commercial, customer and revenue targets of the client
- Good understanding of optimising conversion funnels, from initial lead capture through to monetisation, retention, and referral
- Drive strategy and execution of all the digital marketing channels - paid advertising, SEO, organic, and social media
- Input into CRM strategy, customer journey plans and email testing
- The ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years marketing experience with proven track record in digital marketing
- Comprehensive experience working across all key digital channels
- Results driven approach with proven ability to deliver commercial and brand success
- Sharp attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
