Job purposeReporting to the Interim Strategic FM Lead, the role will be responsible for the accurate collection, collation, and presentation of Hard and Soft FM Services Data from across the Council’s Directorates and Services, in support of the Property Services Due Diligence activities as part of the Council’s FM re-procurement programme.<br><br>Accountabilities<br><br>Knowledge, skills & experience<br><br><b>Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract</b><br><br><b>Salary: £306.00 per day</b>
<li>Role: FM Due Diligence Specialist – REF 5145154</li><li>Contracting Authority: Cornwall Council</li><li>Contract Length: 24/08/2020 – 13/11/2020</li><li>Location: Truro</li><li>IR35: Inside</li><li>Pay Rate to Candidate: £306 per day</li><li>Undertake review of current Type 1, 3 & 4 Hard and Soft FM data held by Property Services</li><li>Review existing data for inaccuracies and gaps</li><li>Liaise with Council Directorates and Service stakeholders to ascertain current and future FM Service requirements where gaps and inaccuracies have been identified</li><li>Undertake site survey’s as and when required in order to validate data collection</li><li>Collate all Hard and Soft FM Due Diligence Data in preparation for uploading into the CAFM system in the agreed format</li><li>Provide additional support as directed to the Hard and Soft FM framework managers as and when required.</li><li>Educated to degree level, or possesses relevant vocational/ professional qualification, or demonstrates relevant experience</li><li>Extensive specialist knowledge and proven experience in the field of Facilities</li><li>Management, including contract and resource management, compliance, systems and supplier relationship management</li><li>Significant knowledge of the broader corporate landlord agenda, national, regional and local priorities around estate management, sustainability and asset utilisation</li><li>Strong knowledge of property legislation and its strategic application</li><li>High level of commercial acumen, and ability to act commercially in a public service environment.</li><li>Substantial project management experience, working in multi-disciplinary teams.</li><li>Excellent working knowledge of office IT packages, including spreadsheet, word processing, database, presentation and e-mail packages.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop and deliver effective awareness campaigns in a large organisation.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate and liaise with Council employees (including frontline employees, managers, senior and chief officers) and Members on a regular basis.</li><li>Proven ability to develop business cases and initiate, procure, manage and deliver FM projects, including the recruitment and management of external consultants.</li><li>A track record of successful change management, implementing and delivering new initiatives that deliver improved services</li><li>A track record of successfully working with partners and external bodies to achieve organisation aims and objectives.</li>
