Parity Group are delighted to be engaged with a well-known progressive organisation on a large project and as a result have the need for a Delivery Manager to join their team based in Newport on a 3 months contract.<br><br>ALL APPLICANTS PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE IS INSIDE IR35.<br><br>About the role<br><br><b>The Integrated Data Programme (IDP) will create a safe, secure and trusted infrastructure for Government data, enabling analysis to support economic growth, better public services, and improving the lives of citizens.     <li>Building on the organisations existing infrastructure to ensure analysis can be carried out (where legally and ethically appropriate) across Government in line with priority needs; with appropriate data being made available to the research and academic community to support this analysis.</li><li>Expanding the analytical capacity and capability in Government for analysing large-scale, linked datasets.</li><li>Ensuring that findings and analysis can be easily accessed and used.</li><li>Facilitating better evaluation of the effectiveness of government policy.</li><li>Ensuring common standards for bringing analytical data together, working alongside Government Digital Service (GDS) and Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS).</li><li>Leading the government's ambition for a step change in data capability across government</li><li>Delivery - Create and lead the project to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints.</li><li>Project Management - Day to day management of the project and the project team. Provide effective leadership and management controls. Set project controls. Design the project structure and organisation appropriate to stage. Set appropriate delivery methodologies. Manage effective transition between project phases.</li><li>Benefits Realisation - Deliver the agreed Business Case benefits and outcomes. Ensure appropriate Benefits Realisation Strategy is in place, and monitor longer term delivery of benefits against the Business Case.</li><li>Stakeholder Management - At this level they will be required to build consensus across a large and often diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, successfully managing engagement and communications to ensure buy-in, bringing in senior level support when required.</li><li>Risks & Issues - At this level the Project Manager will take tangible action to ensure strategic and operational risks and issues are identified, prioritised, assessed, and appropriate mitigating actions developed, implemented and monitored throughout the life of the project. They will also ensure senior stakeholders and specialists are engaged where appropriate.</li><li>Governance - Support effective governance and decision making. Provide reporting and engage in mechanisms that hold you, as Project Manager, to account for delivery.</li><li>Assurance - Engage with assurance reviews and support action on recommendations. Organise assurance processes such as gateway reviews, as required.</li><li>Change Management - Ensure effective Change Management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholders.</li><li>Guidance & Support - Provide support, guidance and coaching for the project team. Show commitment to personal development. Promote effective individual and team performance.</li><li>Project Performance & Controls - Cascade vision and translate into delivery objectives for the team. Develop and maintain Project Plan. Identify and set appropriate Project Controls. Manage performance and report progress to sponsors.</li><li>A proven track record of project management and delivery of complex projects covering full project lifecycle within budget, time, quality and user expectations.</li><li>Demonstrable experience of working effectively with a range of stakeholders including third party suppliers to deliver valued outcomes.</li>
